Some projects involve combinations that have never been assembled before — that's where fabrication becomes part of vehicle development.

CAD lets us design components precisely, evaluate fitment, control dimensions, develop complex shapes, compare design revisions, create repeatable parts, and prepare designs for CNC machining or outside manufacturing — moving from an idea to a physical prototype quickly.

Palm Beach Dyno uses 3D printing as a practical engineering and development tool — not simply decorative printing. It's used for prototype parts, test-fit components, brackets, mounting solutions, templates, fixtures, electronics enclosures, sensor mounts, ducting concepts, tooling, and low-volume functional components where appropriate.

Because PBD also installs, tunes, dyno tests, and drives the vehicles we develop, we can evaluate much more than whether a component simply fits — physical fitment, strength, heat exposure, clearance, serviceability, dyno testing, datalogging, track testing, and real-world driving.

Certain projects require equipment, certification, experience, or scale that doesn't make sense to duplicate inside PBD — things like roll cages, chassis fabrication, highly specialized welding, advanced machining, production manufacturing, specialized coatings, or large-scale fabrication. The goal isn't to say we did every operation ourselves. The goal is to make sure every operation is done by the right person.
Complex performance projects can easily involve a performance shop, tuner, fabricator, machine shop, chassis shop, manufacturer, electrical specialist, alignment shop, and paint or coating vendor. When a customer has to coordinate all of those businesses personally, communication breaks down quickly.
