Installations

Installation Is Only Half the Job.

Performance Parts Installed by People Who Understand the Entire Vehicle.

Palm Beach Dyno combines professional installation, OEM-level diagnostics, electrical expertise, factory Ford software, calibration knowledge, and real-world performance experience under one roof.

Anybody can bolt parts onto a car.
The difference is knowing how the entire vehicle works.

Palm Beach Dyno installs superchargers, turbo systems, fuel systems, exhaust, cooling, suspension, drivetrain components, transmission upgrades, engine components, electronics, gauges, sensors, control systems, and complete performance packages. But installation is only part of what we bring to a vehicle. Our advantage is that we understand mechanical systems, electronics, vehicle communication networks, OEM control systems, calibration, diagnostics, wiring, software, and powertrain and transmission operation — together. That's what lets us solve problems that many smaller performance shops struggle with.

More Than a Performance Shop

Performance Expertise Meets OEM-Level Capability

Many performance shops are excellent at installing aftermarket hardware but may have limited access to factory diagnostic software, advanced electrical diagnostic equipment, OEM service information, module programming, and sophisticated troubleshooting methods. Palm Beach Dyno is different — we operate with the technical resources expected from a modern automotive service facility while maintaining deep specialization in high-performance vehicles.

This matters because today's performance cars are extremely complex. Modern vehicles integrate dozens of interdependent systems, and changing one component can affect many others. Our team understands those relationships.

Ford Factory Software & OEM Access

Factory-Level Tools. Performance-Level Experience.

Palm Beach Dyno has access to Ford factory software, service information, diagnostic capabilities, and programming resources. That access lets us work deeper into the vehicle than many independent performance facilities — from OEM diagnostic trouble-code analysis to module diagnostics, vehicle network diagnostics, module programming and configuration, factory service procedures, wiring diagrams, technical service information, and sensor and communication diagnostics.

We do not have to guess how Ford intended the system to operate. We have access to the information and tools needed to diagnose it properly.

One of Our Biggest Strengths

When Other Shops Run Out of Answers

Palm Beach Dyno has exceptional diagnostic capability. We are not only experts in performance tuning and modification — we are experts in computer diagnostics, electrical diagnostics, mechanical diagnostics, network communication issues, sensor faults, wiring problems, intermittent failures, drivability issues, calibration-related problems, and installation-related faults.

Many performance problems are blamed on the tune when the actual cause may be wiring, fuel delivery, sensors, a mechanical issue, a communication error, a hardware installation problem, a voltage problem, a module configuration issue, a failed component, or an incorrect parts combination. Our experience allows us to determine the difference.

Making power is one skill.
Finding the problem when something doesn't work is another.

Diagnostics may be one of the most important capabilities inside Palm Beach Dyno.

Electrical Expertise

Modern Performance Is Electrical

Modern performance vehicles are filled with electronics and networked modules. Installing a component incorrectly can create problems that have nothing to do with the actual part. Electrical troubleshooting is a core capability at PBD, not an afterthought.

  • Wiring, grounds & power distribution
  • Sensors, relays & electronic controllers
  • CAN communication & data acquisition
  • Fuel-system & boost-control electronics
  • Transmission electronics
  • Auxiliary systems

When the problem isn't mechanical, we know where to look next.

Our Facility

Built to Work on Serious Cars

Palm Beach Dyno operates a professional facility designed around performance vehicles — Rotary lifts throughout the shop, professional work areas, dyno capability, diagnostic and calibration equipment, electrical diagnostic tools, factory software access, and vehicle development capability. A serious build deserves a serious facility.

Installation + Tuning Under One Roof

The Installer and the Tuner Should Be on the Same Team

When a performance vehicle is modified, installation and calibration are closely connected. Because PBD performs both, we can identify issues much faster.

If fuel pressure drops, we evaluate:

  • Calibration issue
  • Pump capacity
  • Wiring
  • Voltage
  • Fuel system configuration
  • Sensor behavior

If boost is incorrect, we evaluate:

  • Hardware
  • Vacuum routing
  • Wastegate operation
  • Electronic control
  • Calibration
  • Mechanical installation

If a transmission misbehaves, we evaluate:

  • Hardware
  • Adaptives
  • Calibration
  • Pressure behavior
  • Sensor data
  • Mechanical condition

Having installers, diagnostic expertise, dyno capability, and tuners working together dramatically reduces finger-pointing.

There is no “ask your installer” or “ask your tuner.”
We are both.

Complete Vehicle Integration

We Build Combinations, Not Parts Lists

Palm Beach Dyno doesn't look at modifications individually. A supercharger may require fuel system, spark plug, cooling, transmission, drivetrain, tire, and calibration considerations, plus supporting hardware. A turbo system may affect heat management, fuel capacity, boost control, transmission behavior, exhaust, suspension, and drivetrain.

The goal is not simply to install what you purchased. The goal is to make the entire combination work correctly.

The Range of Work We Do

From Simple Installs to Complete Builds

Bolt-On Upgrades

Intakes, exhaust, cooling, suspension, and supporting modifications.

Supercharger Packages

Complete supercharger installations with supporting fuel, cooling, and tuning.

Turbo Systems

Complete turbo system installation, integration, boost control, and calibration.

Fuel Systems

Pumps, injectors, rails, lines, controllers, return systems, and supporting wiring.

Drivetrain

Transmission upgrades, driveshafts, differentials, axles, converters, and supporting systems.

Complete Vehicle Builds

Engine, forced induction, fuel system, drivetrain, electronics, calibration, and final validation.

Installation Validation

We Don't Call It Finished Because the Bolts Are Tight

Completing an installation means verifying that the vehicle operates correctly. Depending on the project, validation can include:

Leak inspection
Fluid checks
Electrical verification
Sensor operation
Diagnostic scans
Fuel pressure verification
Boost verification
Datalogging
Dyno testing
Calibration
Drivability evaluation
Final inspection

Installation ends when the system works correctly,
not when the last part is bolted on.

We Diagnose Difficult Performance Problems

Palm Beach Dyno is uniquely equipped to diagnose difficult performance problems — check-engine lights, poor drivability, fuel-pressure issues, boost-control problems, electrical faults, intermittent problems, communication faults, transmission behavior, cars that don't make expected power, and vehicles that have been through multiple shops without resolution.

Every project is different, and not every vehicle or prior build is a fit for us to take on. Contact PBD to have your project evaluated.
